Buying and Selling Real Estate - The Beginning

I have been interested in buying and selling Real Estate in California for over 20 years.

Several times I have thought about writing a book, or holding seminars and teaching people what I do.

But it always comes back to the fact that I am just not motivated enough to do either of these.

Books take a lot of work and time, same with seminars.

I like to work when I feel like it, and sometimes the mood does not strike me for a while.

Plus, I want to tell you up front my organization is not that great. I like to work on things as I think of them which is never in chronological order. It’s very hap hazard which is how I think.

I do have a lot of knowledge about

• real estate


• credit cards


• financing


• mortgages


• bankruptcy


• lines of credit

And I am going to make an effort to share some of the things I have learned that have helped me make a good amount of money.

When your buying houses that are in distress these are the things you deal with every day, and the more you know about them the more money you make.

I started knowing nothing but asking a lot of questions and doing a lot of research. All the documents you need to start are public record.

When someone does not make their payment on their mortgage, when they are going to sell a house because the mortgage payments were not made, all of this is in the public records at the recorders office. You just have to go down and look it up.

I sometimes feel like it is kind of a waste to have all the knowledge I do and not use it.

So I have decided to start writing about the things I have learned here…
